Description
B&K 1-1/4″xClose Schedule 80 Nipple. It is made of PVC and has a maximum pressure of 260 pounds per square inch. It is IAPMO certified and NSF listed. It is ANSI certified and Lead-Free. This nipple is ideal for transporting water and other liquids in a variety of applications. Its Schedule 80 PVC construction offers superior resistance to acids, solvents, and oils, while its smooth interior wall reduces pressure loss and increases volume. Pipe thread compound or sealing tape should be applied to the threaded portion of the nipple for a secure connection. It meets ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) specifications D1785.
